Jean Butti (nee Colombo), 82, of Norwood for 58 years, passed away at home on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Beloved wife of Alfred P. Butti for 59 years. Devoted mother of Thomas and his partner Mary Jo Tobin of Brooklyn, Laura Mason and her husband Bruce of River Vale, Richard and his wife Deirdre of Oradell and Michael and his wife Joanna of Norwood. Adored grandmother of Jaclyn, Leeann, Christina, Jamie, Bruce Jr., Samantha, Joseph, Theresa, Elizabeth, Caroline, Nicholas and Alexander and great-grandmother of four. Dearest sister of the late Amelia and Barney Vichiconti.
Jean was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Norwood and was a Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Norwood Senior Citizens Center.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.
