Alma M. Austin (nee Meehan), 93, of New City, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014. Beloved wife of the late William Vincent Austin. Loving mother of William Austin and wife Emily of Columbus, OH and Jeanne Colonna and husband John of Harriman. Adored grandmother of Tricia Butler, Amy Ruggiero, Hope Dean, Elizabeth Colonna, Holly Austin and John Colonna. Cherished great-grandmother of Clarissa, Kate, Isabella, Stephen, Richard and Hudson.
Alma was a senior account clerk for the County of Rockland for over 30 years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11:30 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Nanuet with interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ 201-767-3050.
