Vincent R. Rinaldi, Sr., 79, of Norwood, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015. Vincent is survived by his children; Denise DeMarzo and husband Vincent of Old Tappan, Vincent Jr. and wife Denise of Norwood, Peter and wife Lisa of Old Tappan and Karen Horan and husband Chris of North Bergen. Loving grandfather of Kristin Favaloro and husband JoJo, Danielle Gutierrez and husband Chris, Vincent Rinaldi III and wife Alison, Peter Rinaldi and wife Adrienne, Tricia Towey and husband John-Paul, Lauren Talian and husband Alex, Matthew Rinaldi, Devin Riordan and husband Stephen, Michael DeMarzo and Skylar Horan. Great-grandfather of Christopher, Giuseppe, Taylor, Peter, Ellie and Hudson. Beloved brother of the late Lucille, Marie and Carol. Dear companion of Fe Siao. Also survived by his ex-wife Arline Rinaldi.
Vincent founded Rinaldi Transportation in Closter 46 years ago. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview. Visiting hours are Wednesday 3-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale 201-767-3050.
