James P. Fitzmaurice, 52, of Tappan, formerly of Westchester, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Devoted father of Griffin and Tatum. Beloved son of Elizabeth and the late William. Loving brother of Susan Muir and her husband Michael of Stony Point and Thomas and his wife Enza of Orangeburg. Adored uncle of Jonathan, Leah, Bryan, Olivia and Morgan.
Jim was a life member of the PGA and worked at various golf courses in Rockland and Westchester counties. Besides his love of golf, he was an avid reader and loved to hike.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church, Tappan with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050).
