Mildred Prisco

Mildred Prisco (nee DeStefano), 83, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfonso and cherished mother of Greg Prisco and his wife Mary of Stuart, FL and Lisa Potesta and her husband Anthony of Orangeburg. Dearest sister of Peter DeStefano and wife Dorothy of Tappan and Joseph DeStefano and wife Kathy, also of Tappan. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Millie worked for Mary Kay Cosmetics for over 36 years and had been a director since 2000. She was a devoted wife and mother and a hard working woman who wore many hats. She will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-6 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).

I have some great memory’s of visiting New York with all my family as young kid, always stopped at aunt Millie and uncle Alfonso house there would be aunt Millie squeezing my cheeks of my face and Lisa with Mets hat on and greogery. There would always be a big spread wilth New York’s finest Italian bread , meats, cookies the whole nine yards then we always sit arround and laugh and bullshit, my first visits where watching my uncle sell hot dogs out of hotdog cart at the ball fields, and later on in life going to aunt Millie’s and uncle Alfonso sub shop then we would visit my grandmother and uncle nicks house my aunt Helen Nancy and mike , and aunt Phil and uncle alberts house we made our rounds.When we where ready to go home we would stop at the sub shop pick up are meatball subs and lunch meats and bread for the ride home they where so tasty the car smelled like it for miles until I was aloud to eat mine. But I loved my aunts and uncles in New York memory’s that will never be forgotten as long as I live “………….thanks aunt Millie Rest In Peace and say hi to my dad for me and uncle Alfonso loved u guys!!!!
