Helen Castro (nee Mascitelli), 89, of Norwood, passed away at home on Monday, September 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore. Cherished mother of James and wife Carol of Marlboro, Karen Kastner and husband Ron of Hillsdale and Steven of Norwood. Adored grandmother of Julie, Melissa, Evan and Alec.
Helen worked for Silhouette Optical in Northvale for many years. In retirement she enjoyed spending time at the Norwood Senior Center.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 11:00 AM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050) with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY. Visiting hours are Tuesday 7-9 PM.
