Jeane was an incredibly talented and dedicated horsewoman, I knew her when I was young growing up in Skibbereen, as a budding jockey Jeane took me under her wing and shared her knowledge, I couldn’t have had a better mentor to share her love of horses.
I am truly sorry for your loss

  8. So very sorry to hear this. I remember us riding at Lissard House in Skibbereen, Co Cork over 40 years ago. Such a live wire. Just loved her horses and glad to see this photo of her. Many condolences to all her family and friends.

We send our love to Matt and Jean’s mom/Family. She was part of our Knockeen family…. a special person who always put the horses first. I use to worry so about her being around the horses with her asthma but in the end she had her way and battled through. When I told Dick about her passing the tears ran down his cheeks and he couldn’t talk. She will remain in our hearts forever.
