  1. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of Mr. Carney. I knew Mr. Carney through the Call Center in Chesapeake Va. He would come to visit from time to time. Spreading his wisdom along with his big smile. I can say that Mr. Carney will truly be missed. But we must remember his celebration of life is just beginning through our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask God to give the family the comfort an strength to see them through. Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

  2. Joe, was a great co-worker and friend. I will never forget our times at NVOT and Panasonic. My deepest sympathies and regrets.

  3. Joe and I went to St. Anthony’s and NVOT together. Haven’t seen each other since high school graduation, but was in his home many times as a child and we connected in the past few years on Facebook. There was no more loving family than the Carneys, and no more cheerful boy than Joe. He — and they — are in our prayers.

  4. Joe and I shared many fishing stories together and I was honored to call him my friend. The world lost a very great man but heaven gained a #1 draft choice. God bless you my friend.

  5. My deepest condolences to the whole family as I am so saddened to hear this about Joe ♥️

Deepest Sympathy to the Carney Family
May all your happy memories shared together give you comfort and peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

  8. A wonderful partner with whom to work; a friend whose laugh could light up a room. Joe was the first person at Panasonic with whom I had the opportunity to meet and build a relationship with. I remember the car ride to the first “Panasonic” dinner I attended in New Jersey, on the riverfront. I remember the conversation about his plans to impart his wisdom on young up-and-coming employees. I remember his candid remarks about his successes and failures in doing so. I remember meeting a man who was unabashedly genuine, truly cared about the development of his team, and a man with the clout and experience to suggest he had no reason to even speak to a young kid like me.

Energetic, fun, and with wit that few could match, Joe was someone whom you could talk with for hours, without having any reason to talk in the first place. Though his responsibilities and roles were many, Joe treated each person as his equal. He would tell you exactly what he thought – sometimes blunt, sometimes calculated – but would never shy away from his honest and forthright nature. You could count on honesty, integrity, and levity in every conversation.

I will miss the random conversations, sometimes about work, and sometimes just about life in general. I will miss his infectious, loud, and distinct laugh. I will miss his guidance, experience and energy. I can’t help but feel sorry for myself, that I won’t be able to pick up the phone and get his unadulterated take on the goings on. That I won’t have that truly genuine honesty and wealth of experience available to me. But lest I forget, Joe had a family whom he adored. As a co-worker and friend, I can’t imagine the impact he had on those whom he held most dear.

Thank you, Joe, for being a friend. For being someone I could be honest with. For being someone who would be brutally honest with me. For being you. Rest in peace, my friend. Your time on earth may have ended, but the memories and impact you have made will not.

  9. Jeanette, Jessica, Roger, Maureen, Mary, Vincent, Robert, Janet, Bernadette, Darlene, Kimberly and all his family and favorite little people –
I share in your time of sadness and grief and also share in the love and memories of Joe. Having worked with him for almost 20 years, I knew of his love of family, friends, fishing and the great outdoors. He was always willing to share pics of his latest big trout! His work ethic and caring and compassion for those he worked with and managed will never be forgotten. Joe was a kind, good soul who touched our lives and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Joe we were old neighbors on Campora Drive In Northvale and you and all the Carney family were wonderful, loving, catholic family whom we enjoyed immensely. Joe you were always a friendly and genuine guy and I am very sorry to hear of your passing from another old neighbor Susan Papa. I was shocked as you are still young in today’s times. Joe I too live in Orange County NY and wish we could have gotten together to reminisce about growing up on our street Campora Drive In Northvale, NJ. We will reminisce in Heaven when everyone is together again. With Deepest Sympathy to your wife and children, your brothers and sisters, your co-workers and family may you Rest In Peace and soar with the Angels.
