  4. You were a good friend since the late 1950’s and we had many adventures. You were a guest at both of my weddings and other events in my life. You taught me a lot about welding and other projects. Thanks for all your help over the years. I’ll always remember me taking you down for your bike license in Lodi where we had to switch bikes due to mine being inspected and your had not been. Yours (650 BSA) had open exhaust and high bars and mine was a stock Honda Super Hawk. Thanks again for all the help over the years RIP big guy

I was just reminiscing thru the internet when I see that Todd has passed. I worked at Butler & Smith with Udo and Helmut for many years and loved to see Todd ride up in his very chopped Harley and his black Ford van with a 426 hemi ( and that horn ) along with many other rides. He would shake your hand and tickle you with his stub fingers and smile .Have not seen him in 30 years but my heart aches with this news. RIP my friend….

  8. Todd, You were something else tooling around Closter NJ in your awesome “Mr. Machine”. You and your “Machine”
were one of a kind and although I haven’t seen you in about 40+ years, I will always remember how the pair of you
brought a lot of laughs and giggles to my face when you passed by.

    Rest in Peace

  9. I was just a kid and my friend lived right nextdoor to him, he opened the door to me about motorcycles and Hot cars. I still picture him sitting on his solid chrome chopper at the end of the street with a top hat on and later riding a Honda with dragbars and his french flat hat on. Almost every year all the kids would watch for a Black Bear hanging out in the tree. Many Big parties at the house and the one cool car he had across the street from the house that had tuck n roll upholster in it. I always wondered how he was doing but never had a way to know. But now we have Internet I finally got my answers. Rest in peace, you were a huge influence and inspiration to me and my life in motorcycles and Hot Rods.

  10. A very late offering, but I have such great memories of Todd from his days at American Honda and a great visit I had with him at his shop and home back east. I had acquired a machine from the team and was always scrounging up knowledge, parts, anything I could find. Todd was extraordinarily kind and helpful, brining me to his home for dinner after my visit to the shop, back in the early 90s. My own fault that I lost touch with him not long after that, as I did with many in the motorcycle world for a time. But Todd Schuster was a giant in many respects, and he will be remembered by those who knew him for the size of his heart. Rest in peace, old friend.
