  1. Please pass along my sincere condolences to Kathy, Roy, Craig and Wayne and families.
Your family was a wonderful addition to the “old neighborhood” in Bogota!
Kathy was a wonderful friend to my Mom, Mrs.Messina, and I appreciated it so very much that she attended my Mom’s funeral at the cemetery. I only wish I could do the same for you and your family. I know I cannot due to this virus.
    Many hugs, Lori Messina

  2. Denis & Pat Donohue & Family

This is a very sad day for us to hear of Craig’s passing. However I have to smile at all the great memories we made like helping each other run service calls together, riding our motorcycles every week along with Roger, our families vacationing together at Silver Lake with Frank Hagan and commuting to work in Manhattan together every day (okay, maybe that wasn’t really fun!).

Sincere condolences to Kathy and family, Craig was one of the good ones and we will always have our memories. You will all be in our prayers in this difficult time.

Our dearest friend, our lives have forever changed. Losing Craig has hit us hard. We have so many wonderful years of memories of times spent together that will never go away. He was always a happy man, loved having family and friends around. We felt like family and will sorely miss him. We know he suffered but never let on how he really felt. Somehow he managed to smile through it all and gave us hugs. We are so grateful that we got to spend his last few weeks with him. Love you Kathy like a sister and share your sadness. Our love to Roy, Denise, Craig, Kristen, Wayne and Jen and the children. How he loved them all.

  4. My favorite all-time neighbor. My wife Kathy and our two little girls moved into our house in Bogota in 1972, shortly after
Craig and his Kathy moved in across the street with their two little boys (a third one would shortly join the mix). We both bought houses that “needed work” and we commiserated about what needed to be done to our respective “new” homes. As time went by Craig and I became good friends. I used to go fishing with Craig, his oldest boy, Roy, Craig’s Dad, Al and his best friend Herman all at different times. We used to catch blackfish and mackerel in Long Island Sound off the Connecticut shore, and lots of ’em. Good times. Craig and Kathy and the boys subsequently moved to River Vale, and we kind of lost touch, but not really. Christmas cards and an occasional phone call and a visit now and then. Craig was a great guy, always full of fun and good humor. Even in his declining years whenever I saw Craig Sheppard he was always cheerful and we would laugh together remembering old times times. I truly don’t know how he did it given he pain he must have felt throughout his body. Craig is at home now, and I hope he is reeling in some big ones. Sincere condolences to Kathy, and the boys and their families
