Words are too poor to express the sum of a life well-spent and how much Tony was loved and will be missed by his family and everyone who knew him. To his family, he was a loving and devoted husband and father, grandfather and uncle and will always have a special place in the hearts of all of us. Always eager to share a story or joke to bring a smile to our face, I will miss him dearly. While heaven is gladdened by his presence, we here can only visit him in our hearts and minds, where he remain until we join him. Love you Tony. God Bless you and our family. Oscar

  8. Rip uncle Tony , you will greatly be missed forever ..

  9. My brother, Tony, was a very good man, a very special person, who was deeply loved by his family and friends and respected by all who knew him.

Tony had a long, loving marriage to the love of his life, Joann. He raised three beautiful, adoring daughters. He enjoyed watching over and influencing his terrific grandchildren. He was a warm and loving brother to his sister, Rose, and myself. Tony was proud of his nieces and nephews whom he also loved very much. And I can’t think of anyone who had more good friends.

Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had a long, successful career which saw him achieve the level of Vice President and Lobbyist for the Transport Workers – Local 100 Union and the International Chapter.

My best memories of Tony include watching the Lone Ranger show on a 10 inch, black and white tv together when we lived in Hoboken, New Jersey. I was 4 years old and he was 14.
We also spent many times on one of his boats fishing, clamming and water skiing.

Both my wife, Michele, and I treasure the times that we would get away with Tony and Joann for weekends and trips, family parties and dinners. Our sons, Justin and Matthew, and their wives, Amy and Stephanie, also loved Tony very much and will miss him greatly.

Tony was special because of the way that he affected people. His special gift was that he was able to light up a room and bring joy to every gathering. He was the life of any party. With a great sense of humor, he was always engaging and genuinely happy to see everybody. We will all miss him dearly.

My wife, my sons, and their families are deeply saddened by his passing. We all wanted him to live much longer but we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that he had a long, rewarding and wonderful life. Although we grieve his loss, we choose to celebrate his life. His memory is a gift and a blessing to us all.

Brother, you will always be with me. Say hi to Mom, Dad and our sister, Janie, and the rest of the family. I look forward to seeing you again one day.

    Love,

    Your brother, Joe
