Kathleen M. Brown

Kathleen M. Brown (nee Guerra), 61, of Tappan, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Beloved wife of Edward. Proud mother of Allison and Edward. Cherished daughter of Stanley Guerra and the late Ann. Dearest sister of Virginia Guerra, Ann Marie Ives and husband Tim, Caroline DeSpirito and husband Patrick and Geraldine Barthelemy and husband Franck. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Kathleen was a registered nurse for the County of Rockland in Pomona for the past 20 years. Prior to that she worked at many of the local hospitals in Rockland County for 20 years.

Visiting hours are Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).

Although the Funeral Mass will be private, those who wish may watch the livestream of the mass through the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church website, www.olshtappan.com. She will be interred at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.

The Brown family plans on having a proper celebration of Kathleen’s life at a date to be announced.

Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, www.tunnel2towers.org.

  1. There are no words to be said just tears. I know she is in a good place and that is very comforting. I thank God for the great family memories we shared together .My tears will dry but the love for my cousin Kathleen will go on forever. Rest In Peace .

    So sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing . My condolences to the family. I worked with Kathy at the health dept fir many years. Kathy was a kind, smart nurse ,who was always a pleasure to work with. Kathy was always in an up mood and made the atmosphere in the clinic a fun place to work. She will be missed and remembered

  4. I am so saddened to hear about Kathy’s passing. I worked with Kathy for many years at RCDOH . Kathy’s heart was full of spirit and she always made everyone laugh. She brightened any room with her presence and will be sadly missed. My prayers and thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
