Annunziata Poggiogalle

Annunziata Poggiogalle (nee Graziano) “Bella”, 89, of Northvale, NJ since 1955, passed away at home on Monday, March 29, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Angelo. Devoted mother of Bettino and wife Christina of FL, Rosanna Piccinich and husband Umberto of Greenwood Lake, NY, Gianni and wife Patricia of Hillsdale, NJ, Felice of Northvale and Roberto of Northvale. Cherished grandmother of Celina, Brittany, John William, James Angelo and Umberto, Jr. Dearest sister of Joseph Graziano and wife Elisa of Old Tappan, NJ, Peter Graziano and late wife Maryanne of Haworth, NJ and the late Maria Giovanna DiRese and Gerdina Tullio.

Annunziata was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister devoted to caring for her family. She had also been a seamstress in Dumont, NJ for many years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing at home and playing with her grandchildren too.

She wanted us to know we have all learned from her ways, and that we have respected her every wish and need. Heaven awaits her arrival, especially Angelo, our great father who had worked so diligently to see our mother’s wishes and needs fulfilled. They will all be waiting for her arrival at the table of our Lord, to eat fish, break bread, and drink wine, welcoming our mother, Annunziata Poggiogalle, who was the greatest mother we will ever know. Hugs and kisses, never enough in my family in heaven, never enough.

Visiting hours are Monday, April 5, 2021 from 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY.

  2. We have fond memories of Mrs. Poggiogalle from childhood when we moved to N J. from Va. and became friends with Anna . She was a sweet ,warm person who made us feel right at home. Birthday celebrations with Anna at her house are some of the best. Mrs. Poggiogalle was much loved. Janice and Julie Stanley
