Butterworth (nee Glaser), 89, of Norwood, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025. &nbsp;Beloved wife of the late Walter, Caring mother of Dan and his wife&nbsp;Ceidys, Cathy&nbsp;Verdigi&nbsp;and her late husband John, Chuck and his wife Donna, and Jim and his wife Laura. &nbsp;Loving grandmother of Dan, Ryan, Jeremy, Jaime, Jessica, Taylor, Allison, Nicole, David and Christian.&nbsp;&nbsp;Proud great-grandmother of Joshua, Avery, John, Aiden, Olivia,&nbsp;Calhaun, Charlotte, James, Sydney, Brian, Daniel and Brittany.&nbsp;&nbsp;Cherished sister of Connie&nbsp;Ercolino&nbsp;and her late husband Ritchie.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is also survived by many loving friends and relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lifelong resident of Norwood, Joan served as a crossing guard in town for many years. &nbsp;She was a devoted parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church where she served as a CCD teacher and helped the parish in any way that she could. &nbsp;She also worked as an office manager for Arthur Weinberg, DDS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joan was a tough, big-hearted woman. &nbsp;She was always willing to lend a hand, helping anyone in need with her generosity and love. &nbsp;She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting hours are Tuesday,&nbsp;November&nbsp;11, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ. &nbsp;A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Norwood, NJ. &nbsp;Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made\u00a0in Joan\u2019s memory\u00a0to Fr.
