Beloved wife of the late John V. Alessio. Cherished mother of John Alessio and wife&nbsp;Elismara, Linda Wynne and husband William and Susan McGivney and husband Kevin. Proud grandmother of John&nbsp;(Dyene), Kimberly (Gino), Robert, Brittany, Kiera, Conner, Michael (Emmy), Kaylie (Chris), Matthew and Thomas&nbsp;and great-grandmother of&nbsp;Jasmine, Julie, Angelina and Riley.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Violetta&nbsp;(aka Viola)&nbsp;was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a heart of gold,&nbsp;and made a lasting impression with everyone she met. &nbsp;She had many friends and was always ready to play a game. &nbsp;Whether it was mahjong, bingo, cards or puzzles, she was there. &nbsp;She loved to dance, go to the movies and socialize with friends and family. &nbsp;&nbsp;She worked many years at&nbsp;Pearson&nbsp;(formerly Simon &amp; Shuster)&nbsp;in Old Tappan, NJ and&nbsp;was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church.&nbsp;She will be dearly missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting hours are Monday, January 26, 2026 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at&nbsp;Pizzi&nbsp;Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ.
