Benedetto \u201cSalvatore\u201d Ribaudo, 76, of Norwood, formerly of the Bronx, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.\u00a0 Beloved husband of Maria (nee Valore).\u00a0 Loving father of Cristina Fanelli and her husband Frank A. Fanelli of Norwood and cherished grandfather of Anthony and Francesca.\u00a0 Dearest brother of Maria Ribaudo, Rosa Lombardo and her husband Biagio, Nunziata Ribaudo, Grazia Ribaudo and Alfredo Ribaudo and his wife Maria. Devoted uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.<\/p>\n
Sal was a retired Arthur Avenue chef at Ann and Tony\u2019s Ristorante, in the Bronx.\u00a0 Upon moving to New Jersey he enjoyed gardening and was a crossing guard in Norwood. He loved being surrounded by his family and watching the New York Yankees.<\/p>\n
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Norwood with entombment to follow at Garden of Memories, Washington Twp.\u00a0 Visiting hours are Thursday 4-9 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050).<\/p>\n
