Paul A. Walther, 88, of Norwood, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026.  Beloved husband of the late Theresa (nee Macchio) and the late Barbara (nee Hatem).  Loving father of Patricia Lukas and her husband Todd, and Paul T. Walther and his wife Christa.  Proud grandfather of Theresa (Jay), Cameron (Megan), Aidan (Mary), Joe (Madison), Pierce (Emily), Bryce and Stephen, and great-grandfather of Chloe, Cohen, Aurora, Henry, Eliza and Avery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul was a lifelong resident of Norwood.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and an active member of American Legion Post 366.  He owned and operated American Chimney Corporation for over 50 years.  Paul was an avid golfer who loved playing and spending time with his friends at Old Tappan Golf Course.  He loved to laugh and joke keeping his sense of humor until the end.  He was one-of-a-kind and his presence brightened the room.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting hours are Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11 AM at Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Hwy, Sparkill, NY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
