Anthony A. Chiusano, 87, of Northvale, died peacefully in his home on Friday July 10th. \u00a0Born and raised in Englewood, NJ. \u00a0Graduate of Dwight Morrow High School. \u00a0Anthony served our country in World War II in the Navy. \u00a0He then worked as a department head for A&P for 42 years until his retirement. \u00a0He was a former councilman for the town of Northvale where he also worked as a crossing guard in his retirement. \u00a0Anthony was a parishioner of Saint Anthony\u2019s parish in Northvale.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n He was predeceased by his wife Catherine (nee Hartman). \u00a0Anthony is survived by his daughter Lisa Sherman and her husband the late Donald Sherman, his grandchildren Eric and his wife Veronica, Brian and his wife Jessica and Carly Sherman. \u00a0Anthony had three beautiful great grandchildren Lily, Charleigh and Chloe. \u00a0Also survived by his brothers Angelo and his late wife Anne, Paul and his wife Irene, and the late Pat and Marilyn, his sister in law Betty Anne Cornell (nee Hartman), numerous nieces and nephews, long time neighbors the Jacobsen family and his beloved community of Northvale.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Friends may visit with the family on <\/strong>Monday July 13th<\/strong> from <\/strong>3:00pm until 7:00pm<\/strong> at Pizzi Funeral Home located at 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ with a short service immediately following. \u00a0In lieu of flowers we ask that any donations go to the Northvale Volunteer Ambulance Corps at 196 Firenze Street, Northvale, NJ 07648.<\/strong><\/p>\n www.pizzifuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Anthony A.
