Antonio Velazquez, II, 50, of Northvale, formerly of Union City, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Beloved husband of Anna D\u2019Emilio. Predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Iraida Velazquez, and stepfather Gil Francisco. Loving brother of Carlos Velazquez and his wife Evelyn, and sister Iris Negron and her husband Edward. Dearest son-in-law of Maria D\u2019Emilio and the late Antonio, and brother-in-law of Carmine and Christine D\u2019Emilio, Lena D\u2019Emilio and fianc\u00e9 Joseph Durante, and Diana and Stephen Zondorak.\u00a0 Adored uncle of Jason, Victoria, Layla, Brandon, Adam, Austin, Steven and Abigail.\u00a0 He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be dearly missed by his dog & buddy, Cesar the Great.<\/p>\n
Antonio was a US Army Veteran and a graduate of La Salle Academy and Fairleigh Dickenson University.\u00a0 He worked for New York Life as an insurance agent. He enjoyed Kung Fu, collecting comic books, was a political science, music, science fiction and sports car enthusiast, and enjoyed supporting his favorite teams, the New York Mets and the New England Patriots.<\/p>\n
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:00 AM at St. Anthony\u2019s Roman Catholic Church in Northvale, NJ with entombment to follow at Mount Hope Mausoleum, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale. (201-767-3050).<\/p>\n
