Anna K. Samela (nee Tarantino), 85, of Tappan, formerly of Norwalk, CT and the Bronx, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. \u00a0Beloved wife of the late Dominick.\u00a0 Loving mother of Daniel Samela, Stacey Samela, both of Tappan, and the late Gail Pacifico. \u00a0Adored grandmother of Dominick, Anna and Nicholas. \u00a0Dearest sister of Barbara Monteleone and her husband Fred of Orangeburg and the late Jean Raio.\u00a0 \u00a0Also survived by her brother-in-law Lou Raio and many loving nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
She\u2019ll be happily remembered cooking for her family, her love of music that she passed on to all her children and the joy of a soft recliner and old black and white movies.<\/p>\n
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Aedan\u2019s RC Church, Pearl River with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Westport, CT. \u00a0Visiting hours are Friday 6-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050).<\/p>\n
