Frank Margini, 79, of Old Tappan, formerly of Northvale, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. A devoted family man, Frank was the beloved husband of Eva and loving father of Steven and his wife Laura of Wallkill, NY, Douglas of Old Tappan and Frank R. of Old Tappan. Adored grandfather of Samantha.<\/p>\n
A proud American, Frank was a Cpl in the USMC during Korea and later joined the US Army Reserves and retired as Sgt. He was an officer in the NYPD for 20 years before retiring and becoming superintendent of buildings and grounds at Northvale Public Schools.<\/p>\n
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050). A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 7 PM.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank\u2019s memory may be made to Popcorn Park Animal Sanctuary at www.ahscares.org.<\/p>\n
