Louis Paillex, 82, longtime resident of Northvale, NJ passed away peacefully on August 20, 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beloved husband to the late Norma (2014), whom he now joins in heaven.\u00a0 Cherished son of Angelina (Lina) Paillex, 106, of Fort Myers, FL.\u00a0 Loving father of Bruce Paillex of Santa Monica, CA and Lisa Paillex Griffin and her boyfriend Mark Arsenault of Toms River, NJ.\u00a0 Dear grandfather of David and Marc.\u00a0 Also survived by his loving sister Zo-Ann Murr and brothers Fernand and Andre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Louis was born in NYC and lived in Northvale his whole life until moving to Toms River in April 2017 to be near his daughter. He was retired from a long career as a Controller for small companies in various industries. He loved reading the entire newspaper every day and enjoyed tinkering with and fixing just about anything.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Funeral Service will be held\u00a0on <\/strong>Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11am<\/strong>\u00a0at St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran Church,\u00a0171 Closter Dock Road, Closter, NJ\u00a0with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours are\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday<\/strong> 5-8pm<\/strong>\u00a0at Pizzi Funeral Home,\u00a0120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson\u2019s Research, under the \u201cDonate in Tribute\u201d tab, at\u00a0www.michaeljfox.org<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
