Moran, Sr. in eternal rest on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Beloved and devoted mother of Albert S. Moran, Jr. and his wife Lori, Christopher T. Moran and his wife Teresa, and Rebecca Moran Day. Loving grandmother of Ryan Ashley Moran, Corinne Harriet Day and Griffin Donald Albert Day. Dear sister of Thomas Hickey and the late John Hickey. Born to the late John and Rebecca (Kingston) Hickey in the Kingsbridge Section of the Bronx on December 22, 1936.<\/p>\n<p>Harriet was the past president of the Irish American Social Club of Bergen County and had been active in the promotion and preservation of Irish History and Culture. Opening her home and heart to children of Northern Ireland during the turmoil and violence of the 1980\u2019s through \u201cProject Children\u201d, Harriet always looked for ways to make the world a better place, even if it was one child at a time.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral Liturgy at Church of St. Pius X, Old Tappan on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
