Flynn (nee Bauer), 84, of Norwood for over 50 years, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011.\u00a0 Beloved wife of the late Andrew.\u00a0 Devoted mother of Janet Sokoly and her husband Wayne of Park Ridge and Paul Flynn and his wife Rita of Norwood.\u00a0 Adored grandmother of Christopher, Scott, Morgan, Katie and Andrew.\u00a0 She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 Maria worked for Glenwood Labs in Tenafly for many years before retiring and becoming a caretaker. She was an avid gardner and will be remembered for all the baked goods she loved to make.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Norwood with interment to follow at St. Andrew\u2019s Cemetery, River Vale.\u00a0 Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (pizzifuneralhome.com).<\/p>\n
