\u00a0\u00a0 Joan P. Szegda (nee Poli), of Old Tappan, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012.\u00a0 Joan is survived by her husband Michael, and twins, Justin and Michele.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 Mrs. Szegda taught grammar school in NYC, practiced law and then became a proud stay at home mom raising her children.\u00a0 She had been a member of the Old Tappan Board of Education, was a Girl Scout leader and was an active parishioner of St. Pius X RC Church.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 A Funeral Service will be held Monday 1:45 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale with entombment to follow at Ascension Mausoleum, Airmont, NY.\u00a0 Visiting hours will be from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM.<\/p>\n
