Roberto, 89, of Norwood, on Thursday, March 29, 2012.\u00a0 Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Lang).\u00a0 Adored great-uncle of Lillian Jeffery and Ben Amos, to whom Joe was like a father.\u00a0 Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-neices, great-nephews and their families.\u00a0 Predeceased by his first wife, Bertha, one brother and six sisters.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 Joseph was an Army Veteran of World War II.\u00a0 Before retiring he was a truck driver.\u00a0 He loved spending time in his garage fixing things, enjoyed raising his pet boxers and particularly loved Italian food.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 A funeral service will be held Saturday 9:30 AM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.\u00a0 Visiting hours are Friday 3-6 PM.<\/p>\n
