Rice, Jr., 77, of Harrington\nPark, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Beloved husband of 52 years to\nDonna (nee Siebert). Loving father of John H. Rice, III and his wife Patricia\nof Suffern, NY and Dione Olson and her husband Robert of Hillsdale. Proud\ngrandfather of Zachary, Daniel, Jesse and Gracie Jo. Dearest brother of Diane\nZimmerman, Christine Hickey and Margo Sprague and loving uncle to many nieces\nand nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John was a USMC veteran.&nbsp;\nBefore retirement, he was an electrician with Local 3. An avid\noutdoorsman, John belonged to Trout Unlimited, Rochelle Park, Healing Waters,\nHackensack and the Eagle Mountain Hunting Club. He was also an avid gardener.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, due to the current world health crisis funeral services will be postponed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A memorial celebration of John\u2019s life will take place at a\nfuture date and will be announced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In lieu of flowers, donations in John\u2019s memory may be made\nto St. Jude\u2019s Children\u2019s Research Hospital, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stjudes.org\">www.stjudes.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>www.pizzifuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John H.
