RoseFrederick (nee DiCola), 93, of Norwood, formerly of Northvale, passed away at her home on Monday, February 4, 2013.\u00a0 Beloved wife of the late Ernest.\u00a0 Devoted mother of Robert Ernest of Morristown, Thomas John of Gilbert, AZ, Susan Rose
\nFrederick-Vitale of Northvale and the late James Vincent Frederick.\u00a0 Adored grandmother of Matthew.\u00a0 Loving mother-in-law of Joyce, Steven and Debra. \u00a0Dearest sister of Theodora Contini and the late Vincent and Charles.\u00a0 She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.<\/p>\n
During WWII Rose was a member of the USO.\u00a0 After marrying her husband Ernie in May of 1947, she raised her four children in Northvale.\u00a0 For many years she was a Cub
\nScout den mother.\u00a0 She later worked as a bookkeeper at Welles Manufacturing.\u00a0 Rose was an active parishioner of St. Anthony\u2019s RC Church and was a member of the Rosary Society.\u00a0 She belonged to both the Norwood and Northvale Seniors Centers.
\nRose was always up for a good time and enjoyed her trips to AC and her scratch-offs.<\/p>\n
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony\u2019s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.\u00a0 Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.<\/p>\n
