Ana Librada Ramos (n\u00e9e Nazario), 100 years old, of Orangeburg, NY, was called to eternal rest on Thursday, November 21, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Angel M. Ramos, a proud veteran.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in Rinc\u00f3n, Puerto Rico, Ana arrived in New York City in 1946, where she quickly established herself as a strong, determined, and wise young woman. A graduate of beauty school, Ana worked as a skilled beautician before transitioning to entrepreneurship with her husband, managing successful grocery stores throughout their years together.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ana was the cherished mother of Gladys Amin and Sister Brunilda Ramos, MPF; loving grandmother to Jennifer and Sharif Amin; and proud great-grandmother to Soluna and Elias Chan. Her unwavering strength, boundless love, and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are grateful for the many years we shared with her and take comfort in knowing she now rests peacefully in the embrace of our Lord. May her soul find eternal peace in His kingdom until the day of Resurrection.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We love you always.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, NY. Interment will follow at Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
