Edelmira Rivera (nee Torres), 90, of the Bronx, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Luis Rivera. Loving mother of Luis and wife Stacey, Edith Lopez and husband Abel, Dolores Tirado and husband Albert and Rosalind Vega and husband Steve. Proud and adored grandmother of nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Gladys, Adela, Auria, Tommacita and the late Lydia, Israel, Domingo, Manolin and Irma. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edelmira was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and cherished her family and her faith deeply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Patrick Church, 448 Route 32, Highland Mills, NY. Interment will follow at Cemetery of the Highlands<\/p>\n\n\n\n
