Cortazzo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">CORTAZZO, John A., of Stuart, FL, formally of Cresskill, passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2013.\u00a0 Husband of Wilma.\u00a0 Beloved father of Frank, Steven and his wife Amy, Susan Cortazzo-Connolly and her husband Tom and the late John.\u00a0 Also survived by daughters-in-law Joan and Patti. \u00a0Adored grandfather to Frank Cortazzo and his wife Cara, Gina Cortazzo-Fasulo and her husband Christopher, Thomas Connolly and his wife Amanda, Michael Cortazzo and his wife Jessica, Alyssa Connolly and fianc\u00e9e Angelo LoPiccolo, Marissa Cortazzo, Angelina Cortazzo, Stephanie Cortazzo, Gianna Cortazzo and Anthony Cortazzo.\u00a0 Cherished great- grandfather to Jake, Vincent, Aria and Damian.\u00a0 Dear brother of the late Camille Lostritto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">John was a US Marine Corp. Veteran. Before retiring, he was a Homicide Detective with the NYPD.\u00a0 Upon retirement he became very active in the Elks in Florida.\u00a0 John loved and lived life to the fullest.\u00a0 He was most proud of his career as a NYPD Detective. He was an avid racquetball player, and was an extremely talented carpenter.
