Harry G. Leggett, 80, of Tappan, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015. Beloved husband of Mary J. (nee Prior) for 40 years. Cherished father of Shannon Leggett of NYC and Christopher Leggett and his wife Cait of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Adored grandfather of Bridget and Caragh. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Proud to be an American, Harry was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Perry Post in Sparkill and was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church, Tappan. Harry was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and NY Rangers. He will be forever missed and remembered for his love of family and country.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Tappan. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ 201-767-3050.
