Enrico D’Eufemia, 94, of Harrington Park, NJ, formerly of New Milford, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.  Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Grimaldi).  Loving father of Joann Johnston and her husband Rob and the late Louis D’Eufemia.  Caring grandfather of Nicole and her husband Will, Robert, and Erica and her husband Alex.  Proud great-grandfather of Jameson, Preston, Everly, Liam, Brady and Ava.  He is also survived by many other loving friends and relatives.  He was predeceased by his siblings Anthony and Camille.

Enrico was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during the Korean War.  He worked as a Union cement mason for 40+ years.  Enrico was also very active in his community both as a member of the New Milford VFW Post 4290 and Club 60 in Harrington Park.

Margaret G. LaTouche (nee Lane), “Peggy”, 96, of Northvale, formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Predeceased by her husband, Paul Joseph LaTouche, her son, John Arthur and daughter, Danielle Marie Lohsen.
Peggy is survived by her beloved children, Gerard, Denise Simons, Paul Michael and his wife Janet, Patrice LaTouche, Suzanne Dacuba and her husband Andree, and Robert, 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Peggy graduated from St. Simon Stock Grammar School and The Academy of Mount St. Ursula; married Paul in 1950 and moved to Northvale in 1967 to raise her eight children. She was a parishioner at St. Anthony’s in Northvale, NJ and a longtime member of Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, NY. She was an avid music lover, Bingo fan, and skilled knitter (many who will cherish her handmade gifts). Peggy enjoyed many activities associated with her church, The Golden Age Club and Northvale Senior Center. She looked forward to her monthly luncheons with her close friends and was the first one to reach out to anyone in need.
Peggy touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her grace, kindness, generosity, patience and limitless love for her family and friends.

Daniel L. Bibb, Esq. October 31, 1954 – January 3, 2026

Daniel Lawrence Bibb, 71, of Harrington Park, New Jersey, died on January 3, 2026, surrounded in love by his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Gabriele Higgins Bibb; daughter Devon Bibb and George Valdivia; and daughter Diana Bibb. His daughter Danielle Bibb predeceased him on January 7, 2024. 

Dan will be greatly missed by his sisters Susan Markisz, and Barbara Carns; sister-in-law Ann Higgins; brother-in-law Michael Higgins; cousin Gwynne Barila; and aunt Antoinette Barila. Dan is survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues, and countless others whose lives he touched. His life was defined by an unwavering love of family and friends. 

When he was younger, Dan attended Villanova University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s most prestigious academic honor society. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, followed by a Masters of Arts Degree in Political Science. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor at Seton Hall Law School, and began a 40-year career in criminal litigation and trial practice at the state and federal level, both as a prosecutor and later as a defense attorney. In 1982, he joined the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, as an Assistant District Attorney. Dan was a legendary prosecutor in the D.A.’s Office, earning the respect of fellow prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, and the NYPD. He was one of only a dozen prosecutors to be named Senior Trial Counsel. 

Dan met the love of his life, Gabriele, and they married in May 1988. They welcomed three daughters Danielle, Devon and Diana. Dan’s most cherished traditions included beach vacations with his family to the Outer Banks, North Carolina; sitting by the pool or at the beach; hosting celebrations for family and friends; and watching epic high fantasy adventure and action films. He was a devoted “Dead Head,” attending many Grateful Dead concerts. Dan loved attending dinners and gatherings, talking about old and cold cases, and reminiscing with friends at Forlini’s, Coogan’s, Uncle Jack’s and Villa Mosconi in Manhattan, and PJ Finnegan’s in Westwood. Dan’s was a life well-lived, and his absence leaves a lasting void for all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 2-6 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, New Jersey. A memorial service will take place on Monday, January 19 at 11 AM at the Community Church of Harrington Park, 1 Spring Street, Harrington Park, New Jersey.

Edith Giusto (nee DiMatteo), 102, of the Bronx, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Beloved mother of Lorraine Bagnoli (late husband Vincent) and Patrick Giusto. Proud grandmother of Craig (wife Jenna), Gary, Cindy and Emily. Adored great-grandmother of Peyton and Rose Gloria. Dearest sister of the late Sam DiMatteo, Ernest DiMatteo and Mary Loro.

Edith was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel in the Bronx and later at St. Pius X in Old Tappan. Edith was a teacher’s aide at Grace Dodge High School in the Bronx for many years.

Corinna Rose McPartland “Cori” (nee Buoniconti), 57, of Northvale, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Beloved wife of Denis. Cherished mother of Cailie, fiancé Anthony Schnell and Finbarr. Proud grandmother of Leo. Loving daughter of Margaret and the late Anthony Buoniconti. Dearest sister of Gina and her husband Neil Payne and Anthony Buoniconti, Jr. and many brother and sister in laws. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cori graduated from Wagner College with a degree in Music Education. She was a client coordinator for Spectrum for Living in Closter and later was a substitute and teacher’s aide at T. Baldwin Demarest Elementary School in Old Tappan. She loved going for walks around the town, gardening, going to broadway shows, and cooking. Riding motor bikes with Pop, hiking with Finbarr and singing with Cailie were some of her favorite hobbies. She will be missed deeply by many.

Kenneth Andrew Esola “Kenny, KenDog”, 64, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Teaneck NJ, Kenny was the son of Jeanne Cutrona and the late John Esola. He grew up in Northvale, with his stepmom Terri Esola Englehardt and the late John Esola, where he formed many lifelong friendships that he cherished throughout his life.

Kenny was known by all for his kindness, caring nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. He was genuine, humble, and lived life to the fullest. He found joy in simple pleasures—spending time outdoors, caring for all animals, helping neighbors and friends, playing his guitars, and riding his motorcycle. His love for live music took him traveling from coast to coast, where he touched countless lives and made lifelong friends along the way. To know Kenny was to love him, and he always had a smile for everyone he met.

He dedicated his life’s work to the glass industry and took great pride in his craft as a member of the Glaziers Union Local 718. His hard work, skill, and integrity earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and friends.

In recent years, Kenny enjoyed his retirement in Vanceboro, NC surrounded by the people and places he loved most.

He is survived by his siblings John Esola, Jeanne Cutrona-Vera,  Richard Esola, better known to Kenny as “Chop Chop” and his wife Loretta, Dave Esola, also known as “Lopes”, and younger sister Chrissy Esola. He will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Gerard “Jerry” Lenahan, 98, of Northvale, NJ, passed away at home on Sunday, December 14th, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Betz). Cherished father of Maureen Coberly, Alisa Perretti (and her husband Daniel), and Susan Treanor (and her husband Frank). Proud Grandfather of Jennifer (late Chris), Melissa, Emily (Tom), and Jesse (Tanya). Adored Great-Grandfather of Lily. Dearest brother of the late William and late Agnes. 

In his career, Jerry was a telephone installer for The New York Telephone Company for 48 years in New York City and was past-President of the New York Telephone Pioneers (a volunteer organization focused on promoting fellowship and community service). After the telephone company, Jerry enjoyed a second career for some years at Pyrometer Instrument Company in Northvale. Jerry then enjoyed his “retired” life as a crossing guard in Northvale (which lasted for some 18-odd years), manning the same post at the railroad tracks near Veteran’s Park for the entirety of his time. 

Socially, Jerry was an active parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church (singing for many years in the choir), enjoyed the Northvale Golden Age Club and Senior Center, and was a proud Navy Veteran who was involved with both the American Legion Post 366 and the VFW. He was also a life-time member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Glee Club in New York City, which he got great enjoyment from participating in for over sixty years.

Jerry will forever be remembered as the “Voice of Northvale”, singing not only on Sundays at St. Anthony’s Parish but at many funerals and weddings and Northvale events such as Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, and the opening day of baseball season. 

Jerry was sociable, laughing often and known in his not-so-long-ago younger years as the life of the party. He loved to joke and pull funny faces, making his family laugh for hours. He was kind, friendly, and quite beloved by both his family and acquaintances. Recognized often and spoken of fondly, he will be missed by all who knew him. Jerry was simply “one of a kind”.

Kevin M. Reid, 65, of Tappan, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Cherished son of Patricia and the late David Reid. Loving brother of Brian Reid and wife Mary, David Reid and wife Deborah Ryan and Patricia Doherty and husband Daniel. Proud uncle of Daniel, Caitlin, Emily, Sean, Molly, Devin, Olivia and Georgia.

Kevin was a computer programmer for many years before retiring. He was also a life-long parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, NY.

Kevin lived to help anyone, anytime without hesitation. He left the workforce early to care for Dad and was Mom’s rock for the past 15 years. Lovingly known as Gha, he never missed an event for any of his nieces or nephews. He was the happy instructor at his self-founded ‘C Student Study Hall’ and the principal assistant and driving force behind all three of his nephews achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Marie A. Iorio (nee Forte), 77, of Orangeburg, NY, passed away at home surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, November 24, 2025. Beloved wife of 55 years to Robert A. Iorio. James John Pankauski, 63, of Harrington Park, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Beloved husband of Laura (née Spincken). Devoted father of Jonathan and Michael, and loving owner of his dog, Luna. Proud brother of John Pankauski. He is also survived by many cherished friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Sophie.

James was born in Salem, Massachusetts, and raised in Peabody, Massachusetts. He grew up spending summers at Salisbury Beach, where his family owned a small business that had long been part of the local community. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DDM) from Boston University, he took over his family’s summer business at Salisbury Beach.After marrying Laura, they settled in Harrington Park, New Jersey, where they raised their two sons.

James was involved in the Harrington Park community and always willing to lend a hand. He volunteered countless hours coaching youth soccer and lacrosse and was a dedicated Boy Scout leader. An avid Boston sports fan, he rarely missed a game and loved sharing that passion with those around him. Later in life, he also found great joy in spending time at the dog park with Luna and the friends he made there.
