Constantine “Kosta” Andreopoulos

Constantine “Kosta” Andreopoulos, 97, of Northvale, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 6, 2025. Beloved husband of Eleftheria (nee Ramantani). Loving father of Theodora and her husband Dimitri and Nicholas and his wife Thalia. Adored grandfather of Irene, Alex, Thomai and Dean. Dear brother of Georgia Sotiropoulos and the late Maria Hatzgiathanasiou.

Kosta was born in Proussos, Evrytania, Greece and grew up in Athens. He lived in Canada for approximately 10 years and in the United States for 59 years. He owned and operated Costa’s Shoe Repair in Northvale for 25 years before retiring. He was very proud of his Greek heritage, loved rembetiki music especially by Tsitsanis, loved to walk around Athens and visit the stores he remembered as a young man, and, most of all, loved playing the accordion.  He also enjoyed watching educational documentaries regarding history, nature and the universe.

Kosta shared many stories of his life and his experiences emigrating to Montreal and then the New York City area. He held many different types of jobs when he was living in Montreal but returned to his trade of being a shoemaker when he opened up his store in Northvale. He was a hard worker and made the most of the opportunities that came his way.  Kosta was cherished by his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be missed very much.

Visitation will be at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 353 E. Clinton Ave, Tenafly, NJ on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service to be held at 11 AM. Internment will follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY.

Carol A. Carini

Carol A. Carini (nee Stelmaschuk), 83, of Harrington Park, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, October 6, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Dominic L. Carini for 55 years. Loving mother of Jason B. Carini of Hoboken, NJ and Carolanne Carini of Harrington Park, NJ. Cherished grandmother “gaga” of Jonathan Dominic Carini.

Carol was a Registered Nurse and worked many years at New York Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Clearview Nursing Home and Local 144. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Victories RC Church.

Visiting hours are Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Victories RC Church, Harrington Park with interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.

Virginia “Ginny” Misa

Virginia “Ginny” Marie Misa (nee Birnie), 61, of Harrington Park, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Beloved wife of Steven Misa. Loving mother of Sean, Christopher and Garrett. Caring sister of John Birnie and wife Kristine, and Kathy Ruiz and husband Richard. Proud aunt of Gabrielle, Nicholas and John. She is also survived by many other loving friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her parents John and Irene Birnie.

Virginia received her undergraduate degree from NJIT in Mechanical Engineering. She would go on to then receive a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University, as well as a Master’s degree in Special Education from Seton Hall. She passed the Bar in New Jersey, New York and Washington DC, all on the first attempt. She began her career as an Engineer at Singer Kearfott Corporation, where she met her husband, Steve. From there she would begin her career as an Attorney, working for several firms in the area including Netchert Dineen & Hillmann Esqs. She would ultimately become an educator, working at various schools throughout Bergen County. Even with all of these degrees, she considered her greatest accomplishment raising her three sons who were her pride and joy. Ginny also loved her dogs over the years: Barney, Duffy, Bill, Daisy, Rupert, Gaston and Petey. She got Barney certified as therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International, and took him to schools for children with special needs, and various Nursing Homes in the area to provide comfort.

Arlene Theresa Jahoda

Arlene Theresa Jahoda (nee Andreoni), 90, of Milford, PA, formerly of Northvale, NJ, passed away at home on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Arlene was predeceased by her beloved husband Rudy, her son Darryl, daughter Sherry Lynn and sister Lorraine Wilks. She was the loving mother of Bruce and his wife Jeanne, Randy and his wife Laurie and step-daughter Lucille. Proud grandmother of Anthony, David, Amber, Nicole, Samantha and Dylan and great-grandmother of Madeline, Braxton, Avery, Kai, Jaxon and Isla. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews and many very close friends.

Arlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Northvale Crossing Guard for many years and previously had worked at Nassau Lens, Northvale. She will be remembered by all who knew for her vivacious and bold personality.

A graveside service will be held at Tappan Cemetery on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 11 AM.

Yu Ying “Linda” Wei

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yu Ying “Linda” Wei, 89, on September 26, 2025 at HMH JFK Medical Center.  She was the beloved wife of the late Rui Liang Liu, and cherished mother of Peng Wa Lao and her husband Sam Chao, Joe Liu and his wife Shirley and the late Jian Wei. Yu Ying was also the proud and loving grandmother of Will, Joseph, Tao Tao, Jonathan and Janelle, as well as great- grandmother to Madelyn, Jordan, Aria, Ozzy and Yi Chen.

Linda touched the lives of many with her profound warmth, upbeat spirit, motherly demeanor, and generosity. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.  Although she is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.

Camille J. Dolce

Camille J. Dolce, 89 of River Vale, NJ and formerly of Valley Cottage, NY was called to eternal rest on September 17, 2025 after a long illness. She was born at Bronx Union Hospital on July 16, 1936 to the late Mildred and Dominic Camasto. She graduated from Evander Childs High School followed by Gibson Business School. Her most precious role throughout most of her life was as a loving and caring wife and mother. She met a young man from the neighborhood and married the love of her life, Andrew Dolce on June 15, 1957.

Camille will be remembered for her kind, sweet and caring demeanor. Camille was devoted to her family and friends and raised five children who survive her; Andrea (David Singer), Christopher (Fran), Denise (John Sortor), Paul (Susan) and Daniel (Dawn). Her true joy came from watching and being a part of her eleven grandchildren’s growing up; Amanda McCormack, Christopher (Christine), Jillian (Fred Delgrosso), Carolyn, Kim, Cassandra (Chris Gendron), Jackie (Dylan Weitz), Jessica, Paul, Drew and Danielle and her six great grandchildren, Leyden and Quinn McCormack, Vincent and Madalena Delgrosso and Chiara and Chloe Gendron. She is also survived by her brother in law, Lawrence and sister in law, Sophie and niece and nephew Stephanie and Michael (Christina), James and Bella Dolce.

Nothing made her happier than spending time with family. She was a loving daughter, daughter in law, niece, cousin and friend. Camille was predeceased by her brother, Gerald.

Memory highlights include teaching her children around the dinner table a song that listed all fifty states, among other silly songs. Playing canasta with her friends Carol, Loretta and Joanne, Rose and Barbara on Tuesday nights for over 50 years. Her creative side – painting, needlework and cooking. Her beauty and grace – taking pride in wearing beautiful clothes with matching accessories.

As a young married family, Camille and Andy lived in Quantico, VA, Corona del Mer, CA, Bronx, Ithaca, NY, Lodi, NJ, Houston, TX,and finally settled in Valley Cottage for over 60 years. She also enjoyed world travels with her husband Andy.

The family would like to thank Camille’s caregivers throughout the years; Joyce, Delia, Lena, Laura, Yana, Suzie and Lucy. Her family will be forever grateful for your love and dedication to Camille.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 1 pm at St. Paul RC Church in Congers, NY. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Rockland Lake, NY.

Visiting is scheduled on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2-6 pm at Pizzi Funeral Home in Northvale, NJ.

Patricia A. Perry

Patricia A. Perry (nee Mullin), 82, of Oakland, NJ, formerly of Bergenfield, NJ and Demarest, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Perry. Loving mother of Barbara, Benjamin “BJ” Perry and his wife Marianna and Daniel Perry and his wife Janine. Proud grandmother of Megan, Charlie and wife Jenny, Melissa, Ryan, Sarah, Tyler and Janelle and husband Michael. Adored great-grandmother of Ava, Nathan, Noah, Paxton and Kade. Dearest sister of Florence Spies, Robert and the late John Mullin, Thomas Mullin and Daniel Mullin.

Patricia was a dedicated employee at ShopRite in Emerson for many years and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Lorraine Jean Maldonato

Lorraine Jean Maldonato (nee Moncalieri), 90, of Northvale, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.  Loving mother of Mark Russo and his partner Pam and the late Lori Joy Russo.  Caring grandmother of Joseph, Alyssa and Salina.  Beloved sister of Winifred Rizzo and her late husband John, and Tonianne Maxwell and her husband Bill.  Proud aunt of Tracie, Jessica, Maxwell and the late Richard.

Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Northvale, NJ.  She worked as a data entry supervisor at MEM Company for over 20 years.  She was also an active volunteer at the Northvale Senior Center, where she would share her love for crafting.

William H. Kuehn

William H Kuehn, 82, of Loudonville, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Dermody). Loving father of Lori Terraciano and her husband Brian of Whippany, NJ. Proud grandfather (Poppy) of Max and Matthew.

Bill was a business manager at Equifax for many years before retiring. He then continued working as a collections manager for attorney, Keith Daniels until June of this year. He was a devoted family man who loved golf, his dogs and cheering on the NY Mets and NY Giants. He especially enjoyed spending time in Saratoga watching the horses.

James Joseph Daly

James Joseph Daly, 68, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born and raised in North Bergen, James later settled in Norwood, where he lived with his family for the past 23 years. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring brother, loving uncle, a loyal friend to many, and an amazing dog dad to Blue and Shea.

He will be missed by all of his coworkers at Bergen Community College and Trader Joe’s.

James was an avid sports fan, especially the New York Mets and New York Giants. He never missed the chance to cheer from the stands or the living room. He never missed any of Brendan and Megan’s school or sporting events.  He also loved to travel.

He was also known for his quick wit and his love of old movies — often reciting favorite lines from movies 30 years ago even if his family had already heard them a hundred times. His humor, warmth, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James leaves behind his wife Susan, children Brendan and Megan, sister Doreen (Gordon), many nieces and nephews, countless cousins, and lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his father James, mother Margaret and his mother-in-law Anna Mae.

We would like to thank everyone from Villa Marie Claire for the amazing care and compassion that was shown to Jim this past week.
