Loretta S. McKeever (nee Amodeo), 69, of Northvale, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014. Beloved wife of Jon K. McKeever. Cherished mother of James and his wife Terri of Northvale, Tina Staropoli and her husband Paul of Northvale and Jon and his wife Lesley of Valley Cottage, NY. Adored grandmother of Jessica, Jennifer, Kevin, Michael, Thomas, Maximilian and Greyson. Dearest sister of Angela Giancaspro of New Port Ritchie, FL, Sylvia Marquart and her husband John of Northvale and Barbara Policastri and her husband Joseph of Northvale.
Loretta was an active parishioner of St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale. Before retiring she was a Preschool Teacher at ECCS n Norwood and Palisades Day School in Closter.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Loretta spent her retirement devoted to her precious grandchildren who were the light of her life.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050).
