John Edward Borucinski, 72, of Northvale, formerly of Pearl River, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Healy). Devoted father of John and his wife Tara of Orangeburg and adored grandfather of Kiera and Johnny. Dearest brother of Florence Honeycutt, Elaine Addie and her husband Eddie, Doris DeCicco and her husband Vincent and the late Vincent.
John was US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart for his service. He was a welder for ConEd for over 40 years before retiring. In addition to traveling with his wife and playing with his adored grandchildren, John enjoyed bowling and playing poker. He will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with entombment to follow at St. Anthony’s Mausoleum, Nanuet, NY. Visiting hours are Friday 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050).
