Pierina Frankola, 89, of Northvale, formerly of Guttenberg, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Cherished mother of George Frankola and his wife Eleanor of Northvale. Predeceased by her sister Ada Baca and brothers, Attilio, Gaetano and Renato.
Pierina was a machine operator for Kreisler Corp. in North Bergen. She also worked at AQL Decorating in Fairview as well as various other jobs to support her family. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Northvale and a member of the Northvale Senior Center.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-5 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050).
