Frederick-Vitale of Northvale and the late James Vincent Frederick. Adored grandmother of Matthew. Loving mother-in-law of Joyce, Steven and Debra. Dearest sister of Theodora Contini and the late Vincent and Charles. She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
During WWII Rose was a member of the USO. After marrying her husband Ernie in May of 1947, she raised her four children in Northvale. For many years she was a Cub
Scout den mother. She later worked as a bookkeeper at Welles Manufacturing. Rose was an active parishioner of St. Anthony’s RC Church and was a member of the Rosary Society. She belonged to both the Norwood and Northvale Seniors Centers.
Rose was always up for a good time and enjoyed her trips to AC and her scratch-offs.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.
