Josephine Perusini (nee Krieg), 102, of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Loving wife of the late Charles Reinecke and the late Everest Perusini. Devoted mother of the late Trudy Carpanini and the late Moritz Reinecke. Survived by her son-in-law Anthony Carpanini of Norwood. Cherished grandmother of Mark and Barbara Carpanini of Lakeland, FL, Alan and Ellie Carpanini of New Windsor, NY, Sandra (Cookie) and Joseph DeSevo of Stockton, NJ, Russell and Pam Carpanini of Northvale, Mary and Michael Mazzie of Park Ridge and Evan and Melissa Reinecke of Fairlawn. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Josephine was a quality control supervisor for the Norwood Knitting Mill for many years . She was an active member of the Northvale Golden Agers and McGuire Senior Center and belonged to the Degree of Pocahontas of the Half Moon Tribe 283 in Northvale.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. Visiting hours are Sunday 1-4 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale.
