Giovanni Nigro, 83, of Northvale, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Born in Pozzallo, Ragusa, Italy on April 10, 1930. He was the beloved husband of Antonina (nee Giudice). Cherished father of Concetta Nigro of Cary, NC and Nancy Boettger and her husband Lutz of Glencoe, IL. Adored and proud grandfather of Luca, Matteo and Christian. Dearest brother of Grazietta, Maria, Ines and Lucia. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours are Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale. Burial will take place at his home town in Pozzallo.
