Lorraine Lombardo (nee DiMeo), 80, of Suffern, NY, formerly of Congers, NY, passed at home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Beloved wife of Richard Lombardo. Cherished mother of Lorraine Briguglio and Richard Lombardo and his wife April. Adored grandmother of Alex, Victoria and Crosby. Dearest sister of Cynthia DiMeo and the late Mildred O’Keefe.

Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her world; especially her grandchildren and she loved to cook for them at any occasion. She will be dearly missed.

Estelle Marie Perretti (nee Muzzio), 94, of Northvale, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28^th, 2025.  She was born to George Muzzio and Pauline Hinsen and grew up in Rockleigh and Northvale.  She was predeceased by her husband Donald and daughter Donna.

Loving mother of Daniel and his wife Alisa and Donald Jr.  Very proud grandmother of Melissa, Emily and her husband Thomas, Samantha and her husband Robert, John and Anthony.  She dearly loved her great-granddaughter Lily Estelle.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law Peter Perretti as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Estelle enjoyed bowling, gardening and occasional trips to Yonkers Raceway and Casino with her close friends, as well as many trips with her husband to New England State Fairs.

Paul Torello, Age 82, passed away on August 3, 2025, in North Carolina after a long and courageous battle fighting cancer.

Paul was born on 11/22/42 in Nyack, New York to Joseph and Elsie Torello and was raised in Northvale, NJ. After graduating from Northern Valley Regional High School in 1960, he worked with his father in the construction trade prior to going into the Army. When he returned to Northvale after discharge from the Army, he continued to learn the construction trade from his father and brother and eventually became a successful master carpenter.

Paul felt a duty to the community as did his father. He became a member of the Northvale Fire Department in 1968 eventually rising to the rank of Fire Chief from 1994-1995 before retiring in 2005 and moving to North Carolina.

Paul’s sense of humor and his willingness to help anyone with anything is well known among his family, friends, and community. He could always make you laugh and put a smile on your face. He taught us not only by what he said, but by how he lived – showing the importance of honesty, patience, and compassion. He inspired us to strive to be our best selves. He was admired by friends and colleagues alike. His dedication to his work, his generosity in helping others and his genuine kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Paul is survived by his sons, Christopher Torello and David Torello, his Daughter-In-Law, Tara Torello, his nephew Thomas Torello, Sister-In-Law Joan Torello, his stepchildren Deidre Grimm, Renee Barragan (John), Robert Murphy (Catherine), Jonathan Leary (Brittany), Michael Murphy (Shannon), as well as his grandchildren Aiden, Makenna, Jason, Jessica, Hannah, Daniel, Rebeka, Kyle, Jared, Alaina, Summer, Sean, Kira,Gemma and Molly and great-grandchildren Juliette, Jack, Grayson and Giovanni.
Paul is predeceased by his loving wife Linda Torello, his parents, Joseph and Elsie Torello, his brother Walter Torello, his uncle Fred Ihburg, and his nephew Jamie Torello.

Sheila Marion O’Hara, 62, of Framingham, MA, passed away at her beloved home surrounded by loving family on August 6th, 2025.

Sheila M. O’Hara was born to Thomas L. O’Hara, Jr. and Maureen P. (McElhinney) O’Hara in Needham, Massachusetts. As the sixth of seven children, she had to fight every step of the way to be able to do what her older brothers and sisters were doing. That drive remained at the very core of her being and in how she lived her life.

Sheila is survived by her beloved siblings, Kathleen O’Hara, Tom O’Hara, Kevin O’Hara and wife Elizabeth, Patricia Rice, and husband Barry Joe as well as her sister-in-law Cindy O’Hara Rinaldi. Cherished aunt of Sean O’Hara, Padraig O’Hara, Mairead O’Hara, Catharine Natterman and husband Daniel, David O’Hara and wife Morgan, Elizabeth Bralower and husband Paul, Daniel Clark and wife Clare and Stephen Clark and wife Melissa. Adored great-aunt of Jack and Ella Natterman, Nora, Eamon and Malcolm O’Hara, Mia, James and Tommy Bralower, and Henry, Louisa, and Daphne Clark. In addition, she leaves behind many wonderful and supportive cousins, aunts and uncles.

Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Maureen, her sister Erin O’Hara, her brother Brian O’Hara, and her niece Brighid O’Hara.

There are so many amazing attributes about Sheila that we will remember especially her electric blue eyes, radiant smile and her great infectious belly laugh. She had a marvelous sense of humor and just enjoyed living life and having fun. She was kind, generous and charitable to the many causes she believed in including support for animals, military veterans, law enforcement, St Jude’s cancer research, and special Olympics to name a few. She was an adventurer and had traveled to many parts of this country, Canada, Europe, Africa, India, and Costa Rica: her journeys had only just begun…

She was a natural born athlete, and without training she could excel at any sport. Skiing, especially was her passion, as well as teaching her nieces and nephews how to be the best at any activity that they tried. She still enjoyed playing floor hockey with many of her friends. She won many athletic awards for soft ball and field hockey, including scoring the winning goal for the 1980 Massachusetts State Championships in Field Hockey.

Spending time with family was one of Sheila’s greatest joys. When she wasn’t with her family, she built cherished relationships with friends, neighbors and colleagues. She loved her home, her garden, her ROCKS, her music, her beloved New England Patriots, and her Irish heritage. She had an appreciation for the ocean, mountains, beaches, lakes and any outdoor related sports. She loved all animals, none more than her cats Leo and Penny.

The great pride and joy in Sheila’s life was her job as a Special Agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Not only did she love her job, she excelled at it and dedicated her life to it. Due to the nature of her job, she couldn’t speak much about her day to day, but we are touched by the incredible show of respect, friendship, love and support from her colleagues. Because of this we know what a difference her career made.

Sheila was the heart and soul of our family, and her presence will surely be missed. She made an indelible mark on this world and all of our lives are better having had her in it. May she finally rest and be at peace. Saddle up, we love you!

A Celebration of Sheila’s Life is planned on October 11th, 2025, at Sheila’s home, 16 Brigati Terrace, Framingham, Massachusetts, 01701 starting at 2 pm.

Lawrence J. Wellbank, 65, of Dumont, NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 21, 2025.  Larry joins loved ones who passed before him including his beloved parents John and Norma Wellbank, his sister Janis and his brother-in-law John Jones.

 Larry is survived by his sister Marsha (Robert) Corcoran and his brother Patrick (Arlene) Wellbank. He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and a circle of close friends.   

Larry grew up in Rockleigh NJ.  He was a graduate of Northern Valley Regional at Old Tappan.  Larry approached life with a healthy dose of humor.  Even when faced with frustrating challenges, he maintained unwavering optimism.  He had a love for classic books, enjoyed playing board games and collecting them, as well as collecting CD’s, DVD’s and other memorable items.

He lived his life surrounded by a loving network of family and friends. Larry’s presence will be truly missed by those who knew him.  He will be remembered for his warm smile and kindness, his joyful laugh and his steady presence in the lives of those he loved.

His life was guided by a strong faith in Jesus. He was a member of Living Word Community Church. 

Larry will be interred at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee where he will rest with his parents. A private ceremony will be held.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor, Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Living Word Community Church, 53 East Madison Avenue, Dumont, NJ.   

Serafina Mancini (nee Fusari), 92, of Closter, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Philip Mancini. Cherished mother of Cynthia Purtill and her partner Mark and Virginia Hubbard and her husband Brian. Dearest sister of the late Marie Nashlenas and the late Salvatore Fusari. Also survived by nieces and nephew Mary  Jacobsen, Gigi McPartland, Alex Nashlenas and Gigi, Gina and Tina Fusari as well as many grand nieces and nephews.

Serafina graduated from City College of New York where she received her accounting degree. She worked for Hoke, Inc. in Cresskill, NJ for many years before retiring. Serafina enjoyed playing bingo, day trips with the seniors group to West Point, Atlantic City and other historical  places. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, but most of all loved being with her family.

June 8, 1954 – August 20, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of our beloved, David Cahill. Whether you know him as Dave, Dave the Rave, “One More” Dave, King David, Mr. Wonderful, Coach, or his favorite names, Dad or Papa, to know him was to love him. 

Dave was born in Rego Park, Queens in 1954. He went to school at Resurrection Ascension, and attended Archbishop Molloy High School on a regents scholarship. The friendships he developed during these formative years became lifelong, cherished relationships.

After attending college at Manhattan College in the Bronx where he pursued a political science degree, he decided to put his academic acumen into practicing law. He attended Fordham Law School in Manhattan. 

While in law school, Dave married his lifelong friend, Ellen Palumbo, on October 1, 1977. They resided in Middle Village, Queens and had their three children. They moved their family to Blauvelt, NY in January 1989 and began a new chapter, making more incredible friends, building their life together, and welcoming their cherished niece Vicky into their home as one of their own. When Dave’s kids were younger, you could always find him coaching their sports teams. If he wasn’t coaching, he was a proud Dad in the stands. It was the joy of his life to watch his kids and their friends play sports.

Dave loved his summers spent at Sun + Surf Beach Club in Atlantic Beach, NY, where friends became family. Life at the beach was other worldly, where time seemed to stand still and memories were made to last a lifetime. ‘Squire could always be found laughing with his back-row buddies, cocktail in hand and his famous smile on his face. 

Throughout his lifetime, Dave was a devout Catholic. From contemplating entering the seminary as a young man, to his pilgrimages to the Holy Land with his beloved friend, Father Ravi, Dave’s faith enabled him to live his life with a sense of ease in knowing that God has a plan for each of us.

As the first lawyer in his family (and neighborhood), Dave quickly found himself with a full book of pro bono business, which he always performed while looking for nothing in return. His career really began when he started working at Structure Tone in 1989. In his 34 years there as General Counsel, he helped grow the company into a top general contractor in the country, quietly providing countless hours of advice, and forming lifelong friendships.

We have been so blessed to have him in our lives, with his kindness, generosity, ability to put others at ease, and his humor. Dave had the uncanny ability to make everyone around him feel at home and part of the family. No matter how tense any situation was, Dave’s mere presence brought calm, peace and stability. His unwavering dedication to family, friends, and faith, and the rose-colored glasses he viewed the world through helped him handle challenges with grace and dignity. In this immensely difficult time, we pray that he has instilled enough of these qualities within each of us, to help us through with the same sense of grace.

Dave is survived by his wife Ellen Cahill nee Palumbo, his three children Lauren Breque and husband Dany, Greg and wife Christina and Jessica McGrath and husband Thomas, and the most recent blessings in his life, his grandkids Anna Rose, Emma Grace, Hailey Shea, Joseph John, Quinn Cahill and Baby McGrath coming in February 2026.

Dave also leaves behind James and Marie Cahill, MaryAnn and Billy Edler, Patricia Cahill, Carol Carroll, Richard Palumbo and Phillip Palumbo, and his 19 nieces and nephews and 30 grand-nieces and nephews. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Anna and Mickey, brothers, Mickey Cahill and John Cahill and sister-in-law, Vicky Cahill.

A visitation will be held at Pizzi Funeral Home at 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ on Sunday August 24th, from 2-6 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Catharine of Alexandria Church in Blauvelt, NY on Monday August 25th at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.

Stephanie Ann Wyman, 69, of Northvale, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Loving partner of Vincent Guarino. Dearest sister of Jacqueline D’Amico, William Wyman and wife Carmelita and Michael Wyman and wife Juanita. Cherished aunt of Robert, Christopher and Michael. Stephanie was predeceased by her beloved parents William and Ida Wyman.

Stephanie was an office manager for a local podiatrist for many years. She was also a devoted lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Northvale.

Vienna Vega Clarke (nee Vega), 61, of Orangeburg, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 11, 2025.  Beloved wife of Michael Clarke.  Loving mother of Michael Clarke IV and his partner Erica, Dylan Clarke, and her dogs, Deedee and Layla.  Adored grandmother of Melody, Michael V, and Benjamin.  Caring sister of Marilyn Vega, Dolores Price, Victor Vega and his wife Cecilia, Jose Vega, and Kirk Vega and his wife Sandy.  Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Dolores Vega and her brother Johnny Vega.

Vienna was a graduate of Albertus Magnus in 1982.  A resident of Orangeburg for the majority of her life, she served as a clerk for the Orangeburg Library for many years.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

John J. Laracy, 83, of Northvale, NJ passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025.  Beloved husband of the late Linda (nee Cirone).  Loving father of John C. Laracy.  Dear brother of Kathleen Kaplowitz and her late husband Bernard, Everett Martin Bush, and the late Karen Bush.

John was born in Nyack, NY grew up in Pearl River, NY.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War and later becoming an active member of the American Legion Post 366.  He worked as a machinist for FMC in Englewood, NJ for many years.
