Frank G. Mauro, Jr.

Not every man can turn a house into a home, but Frank George Mauro Jr. was born with the unique ability to do so. Gifted with a soul that could uplift any spirit, a stranger would quickly become family. No situation was too serious, nothing broken was irreparable, no frown would last forever. On November 7th, 2024, Frank Mauro parted the world. But the impact he made in so many hearts will never be forgotten.

Born on August 7th, 1944, Frank served many roles throughout his 80 years of life: son, devoted husband, loving father, “Pop,” uncle, friend, neighbor, councilman, police-commissioner, soda-man, handy-man, contractor, bodysurfer, brother, and so much more.

Frank will not only be survived by his wife, the love of his life: Ellie Mauro, his children: Elisa (& Adam), Frankie (& Jessica), and Joseph (& Heather), grandchildren: Vincent, TJ (& Dani), Victoria, Blake, Bella, and Frank III, and brother: Anthony Mauro; but by every heart he has touched over the course of his 80 years of life. Everybody loved Frank.

Kyle was an employee of the State of New Jersey as a Taxation Investigator for 14 years.  He was a graduate of Northern Valley Regional High School and later earned his bachelors degree at Qunnapiac University.  He was an accomplished wrestler starting at the age of 7 winning numerous tournaments and ultimately winning the State Wrestling Tournament as a freshman in high school. His success resulted in both his brothers to join him in this demanding sport.

Kyle loved spending time at the beach and driving his car wherever the road would take him. He loved music and played guitar from the time he was eight.  Kyle had the privilege of meeting his favorite band 311, and created a personal long-term friendship with the band’s bassist P-nut. Over the years, he attended over 60 of their concerts across the country.  The ultimate gift was playing backstage at Hammerstein Theater in New York City with the bassist P-Nut when he was 17.

Kyle was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and traveled several times to Dallas to watch his favorite team play in their new stadium. He was there for the first wild card playoff when they prevailed over Donovan McNabb and the Eagles.

Peter A. Rinaldi, Sr.

Peter A. Rinaldi, Sr., 63, of Norwood, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Beloved husband of 43 years to Lisa (nee Mistretta). Cherished father of Peter Jr. and his wife Adrienne, Patricia Towey and her husband John-Paul, Lauren Talian and her husband Alex and Matthew and his wife Melissa. Proud and loving grandfather of Taylor, Peter, Ellie, Trevor, Gino, Emilia, Penelope, Dylan, Matteo, Nico, and Arleigh. Dear brother to Denise DeMarzo and husband, Vincent, Karen Horan and husband, Chris and Vincent, Jr. and wife, Denise. He was predeceased by his mother, Arline (nee Thorpe) and his father, Vincent, Sr. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Aside from his many talents, Pete was an avid, and expert hunter and sportsman. He loved spending time outside, no matter the season and no matter the task. He admired the beauty of a clean yard, after a long, hard days work, as much as he reveled in the changing colors of the autumn leaves while shed hunting in the woods.

Pete was a fixer. It didn’t matter if it was a mechanical issue with an engine, a tangled-up fishing line or a problem one of his kids was having; he was going to figure out how to fix it.

When Pete entered the room, his presence was felt by all. He didn’t go by “Big Grandpa” for no reason. When the roar of that big red truck came pulling down the street a crowd of his grand babies would be cheering, “Big Grandpa’s here!”and nothing was bigger than the smile on his face when he saw them.

His family was his world, his everything.

Only the love of our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ can fill the hole left in our hearts. Until we meet again, in Heaven. We love you.

Visitation wil be Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 2-5 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pete’s memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, www.t2t.org, would be greatly appreciated.
