
Denise Lyn Hecht (nee Malinowski), 68, of Teaneck, NJ since 1987, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Steven Hecht and the proud and loving mother of Ian Hecht. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Malinowski, and her sisters, Joyce Pizzi and Arlene Bremson.
Denise received her Master’s Degree in Education at Kean College and was a teacher at Temple Sinai Nursery School in Tenafly, NJ for over 35 years.
Visiting hours are Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Denise’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be greatly appreciated.
