She was born at Bronx Union Hospital on July 16, 1936 to the late Mildred and Dominic Camasto. She graduated from Evander Childs High School followed by Gibson Business School. She met a young man from the neighborhood and married the love of her life, Andrew Dolce on June 15, 1957.
Camille will be remembered for her kind, sweet and caring demeanor. Camille was devoted to her family and friends and raised five children who survive her; Andrea (David Singer), Christopher (Fran), Denise (John Sortor), Paul (Susan) and Daniel (Dawn). She is also survived by her brother in law, Lawrence and sister in law, Sophie and niece and nephew Stephanie and Michael (Christina), James and Bella Dolce.
Nothing made her happier than spending time with family. She was a loving daughter, daughter in law, niece, cousin and friend. Camille was predeceased by her brother, Gerald.
Memory highlights include teaching her children around the dinner table a song that listed all fifty states, among other silly songs. Playing canasta with her friends Carol, Loretta and Joanne, Rose and Barbara on Tuesday nights for over 50 years. Her creative side – painting, needlework and cooking. Her beauty and grace – taking pride in wearing beautiful clothes with matching accessories.

She will be missed immensely.. our hearts are broken Camille was a beautiful and refined woman. Her legacy will live on forever above all she will never be forgotten.
My wife and I were blessed to have known Camille. Her sense of self and gracefulness put others at ease. The love she gave and instilled in her beautiful family lives on thru them. This is not an end but a glorious beginning of an eternity of peace with our Lord. “Well done my good and faithful servant “ .
One of the happiest days of my life was meeting Camille, over sixty years ago, here in Valley Cottage. Rudy and I were a part of six to eight couples who spent holidays and many occassions with her and Andy.
Our friendship was deep and sincere. She was the kindest, loving person and a true friend.
I will miss her but the memories will live on.
