Frances C. DiMenna (née Narcisse), 88, of Blauvelt, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond DiMenna and a loving mother to Alex (deceased) and his wife Lisa, Laura, Karen, and Ray, and his wife Lynda. She was an adored grandmother to Alex, Kayla, and Ray. Frances was a caring sister to Lorraine and was predeceased by her sisters, Nancy and Marion. She is also survived by many loving relatives and dear friends.
If you knew Fran, the first thing you noticed was her smile — a bright, unmistakable smile that could light up a room, and often did. Above all else, Frances cherished her family. They were her greatest joy and her proudest role in life. Her love was constant, fierce, and unconditional.
A world traveler herself, Frances spent more than 40 years as a travel consultant, most notably with Closter Plaza Travel, where she shared her passion for exploration and connection with countless others.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 4 – 8 PM at Pizzzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 10 am at St. Catherine’s RC Church, Blauvelt, NY, with interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.

My Aunt Fran was truly a ray of sunshine who brightened every room she entered. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and I cherished seeing her at our many family gatherings when we lived in New York. While her loss is deeply felt, we can take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is now reunited eternally with her beloved husband, Ray, and son, Alex.
Deepest condolences to Laura, Karen and Ray. May she rest in peace.
All our love,

My fondest memories of Frances is when she would watch me while my parents were away. She was the most nurturing and caring person. I never cried when I stayed with her, she always made me feel safe and loved with her beautiful smile. She always had a smile on her face! She will be missed. R.I.P. Fran.
The thing I will remember most about my Aunt Fran was that huge, gregarious, infectious laugh. It came from somewhere deep inside her and was so genuine. You couldn’t help but smile and laugh yourself when she got started. We love you and will miss you Aunt Fran. Godspeed.
