  2. Alice was one of the good ones. I’ll miss our conversations as she was always the voice of reason who always put her family first. We shared so many life’s ups and downs. My deepest condolences to Alice, James, Joesph,John and all the grandchildren. She was special a lady and will be missed all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

    • Prayers and love to all of Alices family. Wish I had been able to spend more time with her but I know that she was a sweet and positive person who loved her family very much.

My condolences to your family on the loss of a greasy Lady. Wishing you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Alice was such a joy. She was always ready with a kind word, a laugh or well meant advice. She will be missed and remembered by so many.

  4. 21 January 2026 … My sincere sympathy to the Alice Stears English Family. Her dear friend, Dorothy’57, also from St. Mary’s Hospital (and Long Island) reported her passing to me this afternoon. Alice was always a cheery and delightful person. Everyone was always happy to see her at our Grand Reunions. She had many friends. The Class of 1957 was a very special class. They stayed very close especially after the tragic car accident that took six of their classmates. Dorothy & Alice talked on the phone at least every month. Many of the ’57 members will be saddened by Alice’s passing; and will feel this loss in their hearts. Other St. Mary graduates knew her. May she rest in peace.
