Charles A. Descarfino, 96, of Westwood, NJ, formerly Old Tappan, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Martha (nee Cucchiara). Beloved father of Charles and his wife Trudy, John and his wife Catrina and Joyce Taormina and her husband Thomas. Proud grandfather of TJ and wife Jessica, Danielle, Michael and wife Kathryn, Mariel and Auguste. Adored great-grandfather of Charlee Jane, Willa Fae and Noa Lily. Dearest brother of Rose Somers and the late Carl, Sam, Pete and Anthony.
Charles was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. A talented musician he played the saxophone in the Army Band as well as many bands that he played in all over the area. Charles owned and operated Sterling Manufacturing in Paterson, NJ for many years before retiring. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
