Janet Ann Frohlich, 84, of Northvale, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Loving wife of the late Edwin. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Deborah and Camilo DiRese of Norwood, Michael and Patricia of Woodcliff Lake, Patricia Palmer and Christopher Sakowski of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Allan of Northvale, Jeffrey and Diane of Northvale and Edwin Jr. and Tracey of Howell. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Michael, Danielle, Justin, Jared, Rachel, Zachary, Tanner, Theresa and Parker and great-grandmother of ten. Dear sister of Loretta Hermann and her husband Al of VA, Susan Essmann and her husband Bill of Northvale, the late Alexander “Nino” Prodigo, the late Frank Prodigo and the late Lucille Amorosso. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Janet was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church and the Northvale Senior Center and loved to play Bingo at both. She will be truly missed by all who loved her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201-767-3050).
