Helen Palumbo (nee O’Rourke), 93, of Sparkill, NY, formerly of Tappan, NY and Queens, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Patricia and John Cahill of Norwood, NJ, Ellen and David Cahill of Blauvelt, NY, Carol Carroll of Pearl River, NY, Richard Palumbo of Queens and Philip Palumbo of Queens. Adored grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 10.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church, Tappan with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).
