Robert Armstrong, 63, of Nanuet, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Maureen (nee Owens). Devoted father of Robert S. Armstrong. Dearest brother of Thomas and wife Joan, Barbara Raughter and husband Mike, Helen Furletti and husband Bob, Catherine Fuhrmann, Ann Joyce and husband Steve, John, Mary Jane Rodgers, William, Margie O’Connell and husband Pat and Patricia O’Connor and husband Bobby. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bob recently retired from the Northern Valley Regional High School where he was the District Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds for 29 years. Robert cherished time spent at home working around the house and loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM at St. Aedan’s RC Church in Pearl River, NY. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).
